We are broadly interested in applying experimental, computational, and theoretical approaches to better understand the biology and evolution of genomes.

Our long-term goal is to address two fundamental and interrelated questions. First, what is the genetic architecture of phenotypic variation? Second, what is the mechanistic basis of evolutionary change? We are pursuing these questions in our three favorite "model" organisms: humans, dogs, and yeast.
